Friday Night Thunder
JULY 3RD. Gates open at 5pm and testing starts at 6pm we will be running Top and Footbrake gamblers 30 car min, will pay $500 to win and $100 r/up if less than 30 cars we will pay back 70%. We will also be running test n tune ,street, motorcycle classes. Gate fee $10.00 and if you are going down the track it is another $10.00 kids 12 and under are free.

KIDS DAY STARTS AT 10AM WE WILL HAVE THE INFLATABLES HERE ALSO. THE BASE BALL GAME , MOON WALK AND 50 DEGREE SLIDE SATURDAY JULY 4TH.

Note: Schedule Change for July 4th weekend - PBM Performance Points Races #9 & #10
Due to the summer heat and considering the cost for the racer and track, we have decided to move Sunday, JULY 5th’s race to the Saturday, JULY 4th, thus will be having “2 Races N 1 Day”. “Taking the PBM Points race off Sunday, JULY 5th and moving it to Saturday, offers the racer and spectator more bang for their buck”, said Don Plemmons. So will have “2” PBM Performance/FARM Points Race in “1” day that Saturday, JULY 4th, along with annual “KIDS DAY” Bicycle and Big Wheels races. All Kids under the age of 14 are welcome to participant in the annual KIDS Day at the Farm. Win or Lose, all kids that participate will receive a trophy.

A special note from Friday Night’s racing action at Farmington Dragway
- Two time Farmington Foot Brake champion David Spaugh picked up the Friday night Thunder Gambler’s win in Foot Brake. “Bubba” the man Paschal of Pleasant Garden, NC drove his Ford to the “Street Legal” class win. 2008 Tri-TOP Rookie of the Year Michael Paschal drove Harold and David Sexton’s “Lil Red” Ford Mustang to a TOP Gambler’s win. They would also like to dedicate that win, to the memory of their friend Tommy Crouse, who lost his fight with cancer.

The weekend warrior’s of the all manual transmission “Stick Shift” Classic Gear Jammers division invaded the Farm with forty plus cars Saturday at Don Plemmons “all concrete” 1/t8th mile Farmington Dragway. Taking home the Classic Gear Jammer's win was Rick Gerringer of Mebane, NC in his Ford Mustang over the “Mighty Mouse” Chevrolet Nova of Winston-Salem, NC’s James Stoneman. The “Mad Max” Cuda of Lexington, NC’s David Gambrell was the semi-finalist. Marty Smith of Providence, NC captured the special “Second Chance” race in his Chevrolet Nova defeating New Castle, VA’s Rodney Price in his Chevrolet Camaro.

Friday Night Thunder JUNE 19th- Top ET , Footbrake, gamblers race must have 30 cars in each class to pay the 500 to win and 100 r/up or we will do 75% to racers from the gate fee. Vick, Warlick, Spaugh, Crews, Rumley and Benge, Jr. Take BIG Saturday Wins at the FARM
Maunel, Benge, Jr., Moretz, Paschal and Walker All Posted Sunday Wins

Mocksville, NC’s Steve Vick captured the open field Quick 8 Pro Mod win this past Saturday night at Farmington Dragway. Vick lead all the “nitrous” cars with a super 3.96 ET at over 180 MPH on Don Plemmons’ all concrete 1/8th mile drag strip. Vick with his Fulton powered 1968 Camaro defeated Lewisville, NC’s Todd Tutterow in the finals with his SPE, Hank Thomas Perf. Chevrolet Corvette. Tutterow had set low et for the “blown” cars with a lighting fast 3.87 ET at 200 MPH. In the finals Tutterow suffered serve tire shake and had to let out, as Vick cruised to a 4.02 ET at 182 MPH win. Kelly Martin of Pageland, SC and Buzz Varner of Graham, NC was both Quick 8 semi-finalists.
